I've got a ton of photos and videos from my travels over the past 10+ years, and they're super special to me. Right now, they're all stored in Google Photos, but I've run out of free storage. I'm looking for an easy way to store them online so I won't ever lose them. I don't need to keep them at max quality since they're just memories, so 720p is fine if it helps save space. Is there a platform that specifically caters to this kind of storage?

You've already got Google Photos, which is great, but be cautious! No service can guarantee your photos will be saved forever. If you're really worried, back them up in two places. Services can fail, and accidents happen—like if Google mistakenly deletes your images. Just a thought!
If you have Amazon Prime, you've hit the jackpot because they offer unlimited photo storage! However, video storage does come with a limit. Might be worth checking out!
Ohh, I didn’t know that! This could be perfect for me, thanks!
WHAT!!? Where do I find that?
I use Google Takeout every six months to back up my photos and videos to a hard drive. Then I keep that drive in a safety deposit box. It’s a bit of work, but it’s worth knowing my memories are safe! Though, if you're looking for more straightforward options, just paying for additional storage might also do the trick.
Consider a Google One subscription; it’s pretty affordable. I also do surveys with Google Opinion Rewards to cover some of the costs. As a backup measure, you might want to check out Backblaze Personal for unlimited backups of your entire computer. Just a suggestion in case of any account issues!
I get it! I’m just looking for an alternative option, maybe even something else from Google.
