A few months ago, I developed an app using Claude, and it was awesome—95% of the time, it produced exactly what I wanted. However, I noticed a significant drop in performance recently. I'm curious if Claude has improved again? Is it worth the investment to start coding with it?

Yes, I think it’s quite good now!
In my opinion, Claude is better than Gemini, especially for design tasks, and works great via API.
I've found that Claude is great for frontend tasks. When it messes up, I just use Gemini 2.5 to fix any issues. Gemini isn’t as sharp with frontend stuff, though—all in all, they're both useful in different ways.
Totally, Gemini is awesome for debugging!
"Excellence" is definitely a strong word to use!
Can you clarify what you mean by 'terrible'? From my experience, Claude has been super reliable lately.
I didn't know it had a design edge! Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a try tomorrow.
