Which GPU Should I Get for Around 300€?

I'm looking to upgrade my GTX 1060 6GB since I've recently ordered a Ryzen 5700X to replace my old 2600. I'm considering several options within a budget of about 300€: 1) AMD Asus 7600 for 230€, 2) Intel ASRock B580 for 270€, 3) NVIDIA 3060 12GB for 265€, and 4) NVIDIA Asus/MSI 4060 priced at around 300-310€. The 4060 caught my eye because it uses roughly 30% less power than the 7600 according to benchmarks.

I'm a bit cautious about buying used GPUs off eBay due to potential scams and failures, especially since many listings seem shady, coming from new profiles. I might wait for local listings to test the GPUs in person. Ideally, I'd love to upgrade to a 3060 Ti or a 3070 if I can find a good deal. I've missed out on a few games recently, and I'd really like to enjoy titles like Elden Ring, Sekiro, and some multiplayer games like Rocket League and CS2 on my 165Hz 1080p monitor. Linux gaming sounds fun, but Windows is working just fine for me right now.

Avoid Intel cards—they haven't really been on par with NVIDIA. Go for NVIDIA if you want reliable performance.

Right? Haven't really seen many fans of Intel lately, especially after all the issues with their recent lineup.

Honestly, if you're buying new, I'd say go for the 4060. It's the best choice out of the cards you have listed. Just keep in mind that used GPUs can offer slightly better performance, so it's worth considering that option too.

If you're leaning toward the used market, I found a listing for a 7600 XT going for around 285€. It has 16GB of VRAM, which is more than enough. I'd avoid the ones with only 8GB.

Yeah, the 7600 XT is a solid choice with that VRAM, definitely better for handling more modern games!

The Intel B580 is decent for its price, but make sure to pair it with a good processor. Personally, I'd recommend getting a used AMD Ryzen 9 5900X to get the best performance. Overall, though, the RTX 3060 is a popular pick for a reason—it's great for a wide range of games nowadays.
