I'm having a tough time upgrading my RHEL 8.8 system to 8.10 while it's offline and standalone. I've got the RHEL 8.10 DVD ISO ready for transfer, but despite that, the Acas scans still reflect my software versions are stuck at 8.8. I've attempted to update the packages manually, but I keep running into issues where it says that software X is required by Y, even when I already have it installed. When I try to download the needed dependencies, it tries to downgrade or uninstall existing software, leading to a frustrating cycle. Unfortunately, my organization's RHEL account doesn't have support, and I'm a junior sys admin without senior guidance. Any tips on what to do?

Just a heads up, avoid trying to manually install RPMs unless you're super sure—doing that might mess up your dependencies and create even more problems.
Have you checked the error messages closely to identify which specific packages you need? Sometimes they can point directly to what's missing, which could save you a lot of trouble.
You might want to set up an offline repository for RHEL 8.10. If you mount that to your machine, you can just run a 'dnf update' from there. It could simplify things a lot for you.
