I've been trying to boot up my HP laptop, but after leaving it unused for about a week, I'm getting an error message that says "Boot device not found. Hard disk- (3F0)." I'm really not sure what to do here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive. It’s where your data is stored. If the BIOS can't detect it, that could mean it's damaged or not connected properly. Just something to bear in mind!
First off, have you tried accessing the BIOS? If you can get in, check the boot order and make sure your hard drive is set as the first option. If it still won’t boot after that, you might need to consider the possibility that your hard drive is failing and may need replacement.
