How can I get job-ready in just a year?

I'm a 21-year-old student from Maharashtra, India, currently studying BCA at a college that's frankly not very supportive. The teachers focus more on attendance than actual teaching, and our practical labs are a mess with broken PCs. I recently got my first laptop and I'm eager to dive into coding. I'm looking for advice on how to become job-ready within a year. Any tips or resources would really help!

It's understandable you're frustrated, especially starting with a new laptop! Before diving in, I recommend focusing on foundational programming skills. Given that you have some basic knowledge of Java, consider building on that by working on small projects or applications. Look into online platforms for coding challenges and tutorials—there's a ton of free content out there. Building a portfolio will impress potential employers down the line! Just remember, it takes dedication and consistency—don't feel overwhelmed, take it step by step.
