Connecting Multiple Monitors to My Laptop: Need Some Advice

Hey folks! I'm looking for some advice on how to connect two monitors to my laptop. My primary monitor is a 27-inch, 180 Hz display, and the other one is a smaller 24-inch monitor with 75 Hz. I'm considering options like using a USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect both monitors. Do you think that's a good idea, or should I go for a USB to HDMI option instead? Also, if I get a 60 Hz adapter, will it limit the refresh rates of my monitors? Could I still run the 180 Hz monitor at its full capability with a 60 Hz adapter? Thanks in advance for your help!

You might want to check out splitter options, but be careful! Many splitters are designed to duplicate, not extend screens, so they might not give you what you need. Look for ones that specifically mention support for multiple displays.

Yeah, splitters often won't let both monitors work independently. If you're using a splitter that doesn't support multiple outputs, you might be stuck with one screen mirroring the other.
