With support for Windows 10 ending soon, I'm considering switching to Linux on my main computer, but I know nothing about it. My main uses are gaming, browsing, and media consumption, and I'm also planning to have a second PC for Solidworks, so that shouldn't be an issue.
I want something that's easy to install and set up, as well as user-friendly and secure. I get that Linux offers customization options, but I don't want that to be a requirement. I'm looking for a version of Linux that feels like a complete OS, similar to Windows, with an interface that lets me avoid using command-line tools unless I choose to. I heard Linux Mint is beginner-friendly, and I saw it mentioned in a video, but I'd appreciate any recommendations or insights!

While there's no direct Windows replacement, I'd suggest trying Linux Mint, Ubuntu, or even Fedora. They all have user-friendly interfaces that shouldn't scare a newbie away!
Great! I'll check those out and do some research!
