I've had my PC for under a year and I'm still getting the hang of everything. I'm curious whether it's typical for a computer to restart every so often; my machine seems to do this a few times each month, sometimes once or twice a week. It freezes, shows a blue screen, restarts, and then works fine afterward. While it doesn't happen constantly, I'm not sure if it's something I should be concerned about.
I'd also appreciate any recommendations for upgrades or troubleshooting tips related to my PC, parts, or files!
Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-10700F
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME H510M-A
- SSD: Seagate ST1000DM003-1SB102
- RAM: SAMSUNG SSD 980 PRO 1TB (x2)
Additionally, I've recently undervolted my GPU.

It's not considered normal for a PC to randomly blue screen or restart. I recommend checking out your Event Viewer to dig deeper into the BSOD issues. Look up any error codes you find; that could give you a better idea of what’s going wrong.
