Hey everyone! I recently switched from an iPhone to an Android phone, and I managed to transfer all my photos, but I'm struggling to get my WhatsApp chats over. The app instructs me to access it on my old phone, but I can't do that since my SIM card is in the new one. Any advice on how to retrieve my chats? If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

You could try putting your SIM card back in the old phone. Once it's in there, follow the steps for transferring your chats. It might help get things moving again!
Just connect your old iPhone to Wi-Fi, and you should be able to log in without a SIM. This way, you can access your chats and make a backup without the card.
Thanks for the tip! However, I got logged out and I'm a bit confused about the process. Can you explain how I should go about it?
If WhatsApp isn't loading, it sounds like you might need to export a backup directly to their servers. After that, pop the SIM back into your new phone and import the chats. Have you tried that?
I can't even open WhatsApp on the old phone to do that. How exactly do you export it to the servers?
Have you tried accessing WhatsApp on your old iPhone? You shouldn't need the SIM card as long as you're logged in. You might still be able to get into the app to backup your chats.
I gave it a shot, but the app just won't load for me. I see a black screen, and supposedly, there's an 8GB backup stuck there that I need to access.
I did that, but unfortunately, WhatsApp just won't respond at all on the old device.
