I've been diving into Claude's Projects feature and using repomix to manage my codebase context. The issue I'm running into is that the context size feels really limited, and as I add more files, it gets pretty messy. Ideally, I'd want Claude to search through my entire project codebase on my laptop while I work. Would using MCP and a file system server help with this? Or is there a better way to handle the management of my project context?

I started using Desktop-commander recently and it's been a game changer! You can set the base folder and just give Claude instructions on where to find stuff. It works well even if you need to give it a lot of context. Sure, sometimes it loses track if you throw too much at it at once, but I'm fine with that for the convenience of not having to upload every single file. Plus, it can write scripts for migrations or tests, which saves a ton of time!
Claude's context is pretty small, which can be a hassle. You might want to explore other AI models that offer larger contexts if that's a high priority for you.
I get your point, but I've decided to stick with Claude. It does everything I need, and I'm trying to find ways around those context limits.
That sounds really cool! Does it run through the API, or is it just using my subscription? I'm trying to keep it all in-house.
