Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a new PC after struggling with my Asus TUF F15 FX516PR for the last three years. I can barely hit 30 fps in any EA games, no matter what I've tried. So now's my chance to upgrade, but I'm a bit lost on the latest tech. Should I go for the Intel i7 14700K or an AMD Ultra 7? And when it comes to graphics cards, is the RTX 5070 a good choice, or should I consider the 4070 Ti or Super, or even something else? Appreciate any advice!

The RTX 5070 is basically the updated version of the 4070 Ti. Just a heads up, the 14700K might require a BIOS update for your motherboard, as there's been some major issues between them regarding microcode. If you’re leaning towards the AMD Ultra 7, keep in mind that it works best with high-speed RAM (around 8000mt/s), which can get pricy. Also, AMD is on a newer platform and should be good for the long run.
Unless you have a specific need for Intel, I'd suggest going with AMD. The Ultra 7 is a solid choice since it should last longer than the 14700K and is more efficient. For gaming, the 9800X3D is really hard to beat, while the 9950X3D is great across the board. As for GPUs, go for the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT—whichever is cheaper! It really just depends on your budget.
Thank you man!
