I just found one of these images and I have never heard of it before. What is it and what is the difference between a JPG-LARGE and a standard JPG image.

The JPG-LARGE is something that has been floating around for a while and makes very little sense as often these images arent particularly large in file size or resolution. I last came across a few of these on Twitter and If i were to guess I would say its a cheap way for people to stop others from stealing their images.

All thats different about this file compared to a regular JPG image is the file extension. The underlying file is just a plain old normal JPG. All you need to do is change the file name from "myfile.JPG-LARGE" to "myfile.JPG" and the image should open in any normal image software.
