I've started learning to code and I've been working on some personal projects, mainly through GitHub. However, I'm finding AWS to be quite overwhelming and expensive, especially as a beginner. I'm curious about alternative platforms or tools that might be friendlier and more budget-conscious for someone just starting out. Has anyone found success with other GitHub-friendly options? I'd love to hear about your experiences!

It really depends on what you're building. I have several projects running on AWS that are essentially free because I'm careful about resource usage. But I get it, sometimes you get unexpected charges which can be a hassle, especially if you're new.
Totally! AWS documentation assumes you know a lot already, which can definitely intimidate beginners.
Yeah, I received a surprise $12 charge recently and it’s annoying—like, I'm not bankrupt, but c'mon!
