I've been experiencing some really weird problems with my iPad lately. The audio keeps distorting, it frequently shuts off and displays a little gear icon, and my AirPods sound muffled and low quality. Even though I only have four apps installed, it keeps running out of space, which is really annoying since I've never had these issues before. I'm starting to wonder if my device might be hacked. What do you all think?

Honestly, it sounds like your iPad isn't hacked. Sometimes devices just have hardware or software issues, especially if they're getting older. Have you checked how old it is and what version of iOS it's running? That might give more insight. It could also just need some servicing.
I think people freak out too easily at the slightest glitch. Trust me, you aren't the target of some elite hacker working on your iPad. More likely, it's just a technical issue rather than anything malicious. Plus, if hackers want to pry, they’re often just running automated attacks, not specifically targeting your problems.
But hackers do target devices to create botnets or steal data; isn't everyone a potential target with all the phishing emails out there?

I'm on iOS 18.2.1, so it's pretty recent. Maybe I should look into the battery or something else.
