Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a tricky situation with my home WiFi. My computer is quite far from the router, and the signal just isn't cutting it with the walls in between. I've got two PCIe network cards of the same type lying around, and I'm curious if installing both and enabling Multiplex in my Windows 10 settings will help boost my WiFi connection. I've just learned about Multiplex and I'm not completely sure how it works. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Honestly, adding a second network card probably won't make much of a difference in your WiFi signal. You might want to consider a WiFi extender, but my experiences with them haven't been that great. A long Ethernet cable could be a better option, depending on your setup.
If you're looking for more consistent WiFi coverage, I'd suggest investing in a mesh WiFi system. WiFi dead zones are becoming a thing of the past with advancements in technology!
You should definitely think about upgrading your modem or router with a mesh system, like the Netgear Orbi. They can be a bit pricey, but I find them worth it for seamless coverage. Mine covers my entire house and even reaches outside without issues. Alternatively, a powerline adapter could also be a viable solution.
