Hey everyone, I just reinstalled Windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron 14 5425 using the media creation tool and now I'm facing a major issue: it won't let me install any WIFI drivers. When I check Device Manager (even with 'Show hidden devices' on), the only adapter I see is the 'Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter.' I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version and downloaded every possible WIFI adapter from Dell's website, but nothing works. I've watched tutorials and read posts on Reddit, but I'm still stuck. I've tried to reach out to Dell and Microsoft for help, but no luck so far. I'm really open to any suggestions to get my WIFI working again. Thanks a ton!

Here are a few things you could try:
1. Make sure you have the laptop's chipset driver installed; without that, the WIFI driver might not install correctly.
2. Check in Device Manager for any exclamation marks. If you see one, it indicates that you need to install the required drivers before the WIFI card will work.
3. Sometimes, the WIFI card can be loose on the motherboard, which might have happened during the installation. It could be worth checking this out as a last resort.
1. I've got the AMD chipset drivers installed already.
2. I do see one exclamation mark under the Bluetooth adapter, but that only appears when I plug in my USB.
3. Crazy that it could be loose! It was working fine before I reinstalled Windows, but I’ll check that next. Thanks!
