What CPU Cooler Should I Choose for My Ryzen 7 5700X?

I'm wrapping up my PC build and just need a CPU cooler for my Ryzen 7 5700X. I'm looking at Thermalright options, but I'm confused by the various models they offer. Is it better to stick with a Thermalright cooler, or should I consider other brands? I'm aiming for the cheapest option that still performs well since my room tends to get pretty hot. Thanks for the help!

Honestly, for the Ryzen 5700 series, most of Thermalright's coolers should be fine. The X120 model often goes on sale for around $20, which makes it an excellent budget option.

You might also want to check out the Thermalright Royal Knight 120 SE, which is priced at about $30. It's a reliable option for your CPU without costing too much.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into that one.

If you're looking for something outside Thermalright, the ID Cooling SE214XT is another great budget cooler, especially efficient for lower wattage CPUs. Just check the compatibility with your case.

For your Ryzen 7, you could easily go with a budget single tower cooler like the Thermalright Assassin X, which is under $20. If you're willing to spend a bit more, the Thermalright Phantom Spirit, a dual tower cooler, is a solid choice around $35 and offers great performance without breaking the bank.

The Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE is only $20 on Amazon, and it will do a great job cooling your CPU. It's a larger single tower cooler, plus they have RGB fan versions if aesthetics matter to you.
