Hey everyone! I'm thinking about adding a dedicated GPU to my PC to enhance my music production and video editing work. Right now, I'm using the integrated graphics of my Ryzen 7 5700G, but I've got a decent setup including an MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi motherboard, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD.
I opted for a stronger CPU and RAM since my digital audio workstation (DAW) relies on them, but I'm curious if adding a dedicated GPU is really worth it for improving render times and overall performance. I occasionally play some games, but nothing too intense. If a dedicated GPU could significantly benefit my workflow, I'm willing to spend between $500 and $1000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You'll definitely see some improvements with a dedicated GPU, especially for video editing! For your needs, I'd suggest checking out the Intel Arc A750, which you can find for under $300. It's designed with some solid video encoding and decoding features, making it a great fit for editing without breaking the bank. Plus, it can handle gaming pretty well too!
I've got a 550W power supply, so I should be good!
How big is your power supply? Just want to make sure it'll support the A750.
