While I often hear doom and gloom predictions, they don't seem to consider the potential for positive advancements. For those familiar with the Warhammer 40k universe, think about the TAU faction—a species that evolved from primitive beings to highly advanced technology users in just 5,000 years. Given today's AI advancements, could we also have a rapid leap, or are we looking at a much longer time frame, like 10,000 years, for a significant shift in tech?
