I'm in the process of migrating over 10 servers from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Some of these servers are production instances handling live traffic, while others are used for development and testing. What's the best way to carry out this migration along with all the associated data? Is there a way to transfer snapshots from GCP? Just a heads up, all GCP instances are running CentOS, and we'll be using Oracle Linux images on OCI. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

This is risky business! I mean, who actually *wants* to migrate to anything managed by Oracle? But if it's your company’s decision, you just gotta roll with it. Keep your spirits up!
Moving "10+ servers" to OCI does raise some eyebrows for sure. It sounds like you're going to need to set up your new environment on OCI first and then switch over DNS to redirect traffic once everything's running well. If your server configurations are automated, it shouldn't take forever, but just be ready for some potential hiccups during the transition.
Honestly, unless you're heavily invested in Oracle databases, I’d think hard about this move to OCI. The instance management there isn't the best, and their backup options leave much to be desired. Just keep in mind that restoring from backups can't be done easily.
