Why won’t my PC recognize both monitors?

Hey everyone! I've been struggling with my new PC because it won't detect my second monitor. I've tried different HDMI ports and cables, and I can see each monitor respond when I plug or unplug them, but the computer just doesn't seem to recognize the second one. When I click 'detect' in the display settings, it says it can't find another display. Both monitors work fine on their own, but when I connect them both, one remains black. I'm using an Intel i9 14900K CPU, an Asus TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, an MSI Gaming Plus Wifi B760 motherboard, and running Windows 11. If you need more details, just let me know! Thanks!

Could you double-check if your GPU can support multiple monitors? Sometimes, there are settings in the control panel that need to be adjusted. You might also want to ensure that both monitors are set to the correct input source. Let me know if that helps!

Good point! I'll check that next. Thanks for the tip!

Make sure both monitors have the right resolution settings. Sometimes monitors won't display if they are set to unsupported resolutions. Also, try updating your GPU drivers—it could be a driver issue that’s preventing it from detecting both displays.

Thanks for the advice! I'll look into the drivers and resolutions.
