I've noticed that my CPU and GPU temperatures are peaking at almost 90 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit) even when my PC is idle, and they can go over 100 degrees under heavy load. My setup includes an RTX 2060 Super GPU paired with an Intel I9 11900K CPU, and I'm using a Corsair Omega RGB case along with a Coolermaster 120 liquid cooler for CPU cooling. I'm looking for advice on what might be causing these high temperatures and how I can fix the issue.

It sounds like your cooler might be a bit too small for such a high-performance CPU. The 120mm AIO coolers can struggle with heat, especially on an i9. You might want to look into something with a larger radiator to improve cooling efficiency. Also, consider that your GPU could be older and possibly needs a thermal repaste. That's a common fix that can help bring down the temps.
Yeah, I was thinking about applying new thermal paste. I'm not too sure how to do that for the GPU, though. It seems easier for the CPU, but the GPU might require me to take it apart, right?
