Is a $1500 Build Feasible with a 5070 Ti and Ryzen 5?

I'm trying to upgrade from my 8-year-old 1070 Ti to a newer GPU and had originally bought a 5070. However, I'm considering returning it to invest in a 5070 Ti for the better performance and VRAM, especially since I plan on keeping my 1440p 144hz monitor and want to play games on ultra/high settings for the next several years. My budget is under $1500, and I put together a parts list that totals just over that. I would really appreciate any suggestions or feedback on my build and if it's reasonable to aim for a 5070 Ti in this budget.

It's definitely doable if you can snag the 5070 Ti at MSRP, especially since it will give you better longevity with the extra VRAM for ultra settings. Just be sure to keep an eye on prices and be patient with your purchase.

You might want to consider saving a bit more to get the 7800X3D. You can find good deals at Microcenter for a bundle, which might end up being a better investment long-term, especially if you're thinking about gaming in 4K down the line.

Yeah, I saw the Microcenter bundles, but the 7800X3D's bundle is pricey compared to just the 7600X3D. Maybe I should buy parts separately to save a little!

I tweaked your list to save a couple bucks and included fans, dropping the total just under $1550. It's worth checking for deals on the SSD and maybe going with a B650 motherboard that fits your needs without breaking the bank!
