Is My Smartphone or PC Being Hacked?

I've been noticing some really strange behavior on my smartphone and PC lately, like files deleting themselves while they download. I really don't think it's malware since I've checked for that. I'm starting to think it might be something more serious, like being accessed by government ethical hackers. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on preventing it? I suspect it might be related to Pegasus based on what I've read.

It’s possible you might just have some automatic deletion settings turned on. Sometimes devices have features that clear files after a specific action, so it's worth checking those settings first. It doesn’t necessarily mean you're being hacked.

I checked, and I definitely don’t have any auto deletion features enabled. This has been happening for months, and it’s super unusual for me.
