I'm torn between getting the 5070 Ti or the 4070 Ti Super. I found the 4070 Ti Super for about €180 less than the 5070 Ti. Given that I'll be using this PC mainly for productivity tasks like Unreal Engine 5 and gaming at 1440p 180Hz, is the extra cost for the 5070 Ti really worth it?

I’d lean towards the 4070 Ti Super. In a year or two, you could upgrade to the next generation like the 6070 Ti. The 5070 Ti offers only a slight bump in performance over the 4070 Ti, especially if you're not into multi-frame generation.
I'd go with the 4070 Ti Super and save that cash for something else like more RAM or a faster SSD. The performance difference isn't huge unless you currently have a really weak GPU. If you’re using an old i3 and no dedicated GPU, getting the 4070 Ti Super could really help you out.
Yeah, I’ve got an ancient i3 too, so keeping my old setup isn't an option.
The 5070 Ti gives a boost, but it’s marginal—like 9.7% faster in gaming benchmarks. So if you're not heavily invested in multi-frame generation or that hardware accelerated PhysX, the 4070 Ti Super is likely the better buy for the price.
What exactly does accelerated PhysX do? I don't remember.
Remember, if cash is tight, then maybe it’s not the best time for a big purchase. But if you can afford it, going for the better performing card makes sense. Just weigh the pros and cons carefully!
I can manage buying it, but it would be nice to save a bit too.
Honestly, spending an extra €180 on the 5070 Ti could be worth it for better performance in gaming and productivity. It's a solid upgrade if you can swing it.
Is it really that much better though? I'd love to save that €180 if it’s not a huge difference.
Absolutely. The 5070 Ti is only about 5-10% faster, and the 4070 Ti Super has the added benefit of 32-bit PhysX support.
