Hey everyone! I just bought an RTX 5070 recently, mainly because it's the latest series and a high-end card. But now I've come across the RX 9070 XT at a slightly higher price in my local market. Should I consider returning my RTX 5070 for the RX 9070 XT? Is it a better option? I've been really enjoying my games maxed out at 2K resolution with my 5070 and I'm expecting it to serve me well for the next 5 to 6 years. What do you think about the RX 9070 XT? Is it worth the switch?

The RX 9070 XT offers about 23% more speed and comes with an additional 4GB VRAM. Just keep in mind that you might miss out on NVIDIA’s DLSS tech, even though FSR4 is good, it’s not as widely supported. If you're only gaming, swapping for the 9070 XT is a smart call!
For sure, return the 5070! The RX 9070 XT has a lot more VRAM and better performance for just a little extra cash. It's totally worth it!
But does VRAM really make such a big difference?
If you can return the RTX 5070, definitely grab the RX 9070 XT. The extra 16GB of VRAM will help keep you future-proof!
Future-proofing is exactly what I'm after!
I switched from a 3070 Ti to a 9070 XT, and honestly, the AMD drivers have been a pain. One game runs fine, and another crashes due to driver issues. Finding stable drivers for all my games has been tough so far.
If the RX 9070 XT is only a little more expensive than the 5070, I'd say go for it. The 9070 XT definitely outperforms the 5070, plus it competes with the 5070 Ti, so you'd be getting more bang for your buck!
Totally agree, it seems like a no-brainer! 😀
You know, AMD CPUs with NVIDIA GPUs seem to make the best pair!
Totally! I'm rocking a Ryzen 5 5600.
But DLSS can make such a huge difference in performance!
