I ran into a problem last night when I tried shutting down my PC using the Windows button. Instead of shutting down, it kept bringing me back to the login screen. I ended up having to force a shutdown using the physical button on my case. Now, when I turn my PC back on in the morning, it won't get past the BIOS screen. No matter what I try, I'm stuck in that BIOS window. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have suggestions on how to get out of it?

Make sure you can see your operating system drive in the BIOS. You might also want to adjust the boot order to prioritize the drive that has the OS. That could help it boot correctly instead of getting stuck in BIOS.
It sounds like you might have switched from MBR to GPT. You’ll want to check your OS boot settings in the BIOS and make sure it’s set to UEFI instead of Legacy. I faced a similar issue with an old laptop, and changing that setting did the trick for me!
I actually deleted and remade one of my hard drives using diskpart, but that disk didn’t contain my Windows files. My OS is on a separate SSD, and I didn’t change anything on that.
I changed a setting called Secure Boot from Disabled to Enabled, and now my monitor isn’t showing anything at all. I’ve tried removing the motherboard battery to reset the settings, but I still get no display!
