Hey everyone! I'm currently running a 5700X3D CPU with a 6700XT GPU, paired with 32GB of 3200MHz RAM on an Asus B550 Plus motherboard, all powered by a 750W Be Quiet power supply. I'm thinking about upgrading to an RX 9070. I heard that the 6700XT consumes around 230W while the RX 9070 only requires about 220W. Does this mean that upgrading is possible without needing to swap out my power supply? It sounds too good to be true!

Generally speaking, yeah! It's definitely doable to switch to the RX 9070 with your current setup. Graphics cards tend to get more efficient over time, so it makes sense that this one uses less power while offering even more performance!
Absolutely, you're more than fine. A lot of folks tend to overestimate how much wattage their PCs use. Most wattage calculators factor in worst-case scenarios, so your 750W should have you covered!
Thank you, that's great to know. Just waiting for a sale now!
That's true, so all good? Great!
