Is My iPhone Hacked After Visiting a Suspicious Site?

I was using the Brave browser on my iPhone to stream a hockey game when I got redirected to a website called forsaken.com. It had one of those alarming pop-up messages claiming my phone was hacked. I closed the app and tried reopening it, but it just went back to that same screen. I'm really concerned and not sure if my phone is actually compromised. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but it's taking forever to redownload. Shouldn't this be quicker?

Nope, your phone hasn’t been hacked. It's just a pop-up, and those are pretty common these days. People sometimes freak out, but your device is likely fine. Just close the app and clear your browsing history if you're feeling uneasy!

I totally get being paranoid! I’m kind of the same way, especially since Brave usually does a good job blocking these ads. But visiting a site doesn’t mean you’ve been hacked.

What’s with the panic? Are you even 80? Just kidding, but really, you need to chill a bit. It’s just a pop-up, your iPhone is okay!
