I'm looking for recommendations on a good Nvidia GPU that falls around the $1,000 mark. I've had some issues with my RX 6700, particularly with drivers affecting mods, so I'm leaning towards Nvidia. The games I usually play include Skyrim, the Fallout series, Borderlands 2, Need for Speed Unbound, Minecraft, the Oblivion Remaster, and GTA V, all of which can be demanding on a GPU. Also, if it's feasible, I'd like to know if I can use my current RX 6700 alongside a new GPU.
For context, my current setup includes a Ryzen 7700x CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a PSU that's at least 1000W—probably around 1200W. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You can find new 5070 Tis for around $825-$830 at Newegg. Considering that, it might be worth getting a new one rather than a used 4080 Super since their performance is relatively close.
Definitely look into the RTX 5070 Ti. It seems to give great performance for the price and should be good for your game library.

For instance, with Fallout NV, I've encountered a bug where the character's hair is missing, which I resolved by either downgrading the drivers or using a specific mod, though results vary.
