I'm trying to get 240 frames per second in Fortnite, but my setup includes an RX 6600 GPU and an Intel i5-12400F CPU on an ASRock B660 Pro RS motherboard, and I'm only getting around 144fps. I have a little over $800 to spend, with $550 for a GPU and $250 for a CPU, but I prefer not to upgrade my motherboard right now. Any recommendations?

Here's a solid build suggestion for you: R5 7600, a B650 motherboard, 2x16GB of 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, and an RX 9060XT with 16GB. Just keep in mind if you use Vray and Sketchup for work, sticking with Intel might be a safer bet for now.
Got it, makes sense to hold off on switching if you need compatibility for your work!
If you're looking to hit 240fps, consider picking up a second-hand RX 6750, which should do the trick. With your budget in mind, you could also go for a 14th-gen Intel i5 that works with your current motherboard, along with a more powerful GPU like the 5070 or even an AMD 7000 or 9000 series card. If you're really cost-conscious, selling your current GPU and putting that money toward a used 6750 could be a super affordable option!
Definitely check out the 5070—it's available at MSRP and can be found at many retailers, particularly from PNY. This would be a solid choice for boosting your FPS without breaking the bank!
Looks good! But remember that you might need stronger CPU performance for rendering if you're going Intel.
