I just downloaded a game on Steam, but it won't launch at all. I tried running it as an administrator, but then I got a warning that says "XAPOFX1_5.dll was not projected to be executed by Windows or has an error (0xc000012f)." I went ahead and updated my DirectX, even deleted the DLL to let it reinstall, but that didn't fix the issue. I also updated vcredist and did a clean boot. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can solve this problem?
For context, here's my PC setup:
- Intel Core i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30GHz
- Intel HD Graphics 520 (Integrated)
- 4 GB RAM
- 1 TB HDD
- Windows 10

What game are you trying to play? Sometimes the issue might be specific to the game itself. Also, just a heads-up, it could be related to your system's DirectX or Visual C++ Redistributable installations.
It's Borderlands 2 from Steam. The odd thing is, I had it running perfectly fine before through other download methods.
