I recently cleaned my PC by using compressed air to remove dust, and I even took out the GPU and RAM for better access. After putting everything back together, my computer is now experiencing really choppy frame rates and it occasionally shuts down. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm wondering if I might have accidentally disconnected a cable or something. Can anyone provide guidance on what I should check?

Also, double-check if all your fans are running properly, particularly the CPU cooler. If the CPU overheats, it can cause poor performance and random shutdowns. If you're using water cooling, ensure the pump is working and water is circulating. Overheating can be a big culprit here!
First off, make sure your PC recognizes all your RAM. Sometimes, when you unplug components, they might not reconnect properly. If you're unsure, check your system specifications from the settings; it should reflect the correct amount of RAM installed. If that looks good, then maybe look into the cables you touched—they might have come loose.
I checked my system specs, and they show the right amount of RAM. But I'm not really confident about opening the PC since I wouldn't know what to look for!
I think all the fans are working as they should. I even tried to check the CPU fan, but I couldn't figure out how to get it off.
