I'm really into asking chatbots about philosophical concepts like good and evil and deep topics about the future. I also have a strong interest in history, especially the Middle Ages, the Roman Empire, and the Enlightenment. I often ask AI for book recommendations and love diving into discussions where I challenge their reasoning to explore different answers to the dilemmas I come up with. I've been using Gemini, but I haven't tried many other LLMs. I also have a subscription to Perplexity Pro for about a year now. What LLM do you think would be the best fit for these interests?

I’ve explored quite a few LLMs like ChatGPT Pro, Claude Opus, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and Grok 3. If you’re not into coding, ChatGPT Pro really stands out for deep conversations. It’s great for humanities and social sciences, and their o3 and 4.5 models work exceptionally well together. You can switch between them during conversations for a more tailored experience, which is pretty cool.

That sounds interesting! I like the idea of switching models for different types of discussions. It seems like it would give great context!

You should definitely give Claude a shot! It’s been getting good reviews, especially for philosophical discussions.
