I'm not very tech-savvy and my laptop's running low on storage. While using WinDirStat, I noticed almost 100GB in .bin files, and now I'm wondering if I can delete them to free up some space. I've heard mixed opinions on this, so I'm looking for some solid advice before I do anything drastic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to be careful with .bin files since they can hold all sorts of data—everything from firmware to game info. Whether you can safely delete them really depends on where they're located and what they actually contain.
What specific files should I look into? I'm really clueless about this stuff.
