I just picked up a 9070 xt Red Devil and bought a Seasonic Focus GX1000, but it's super loud. The zero RPM mode is nice, but when the fan kicks in, it's way too much noise and there's also annoying clicking when it stops. I'm considering returning it and looking for a quieter model. In Norway, my options are a bit limited, but I'm looking at the NZXT C1000 2024, Corsair RM1000x 2024, and Be Quiet Straight Power 12. There's also an ASUS Strix Platinum on sale, which is the same price as the other two, but I've heard the fan noise isn't the best despite being quiet. The Be Quiet is older and around 25% more expensive, but it gets great reviews. I know 1000W is overkill for my setup (the Red Devil recommends 900W), but I want something reliable for future upgrades and I'm okay with spending a bit more for peace of mind. Any suggestions?

The Be Quiet might not be the best choice since it doesn’t have enough PCIe connectors. I'd recommend the RMX as my top pick, then consider the Strix and NZXT.
Honestly, any of those options would be solid. They're all well-regarded PSUs. Just make sure you check compatibility with your components!

Good catch! I almost went for the Be Quiet. I’ll go with the RMX instead! I’ve heard about some users having coil whine issues, but I guess it varies by setup. Fingers crossed it'll work for me!
