How do you organize and store your spare laptops?

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to the company, and I'm thinking about upgrading our current storage setup for spare laptops. Right now, we're using an old kitchen-style rack with four layers, and the laptops are all piled on top of each other, which isn't ideal. I really like the idea of cabinets with built-in chargers, but unfortunately, they're not available here in the Philippines, and I'm unsure if that kind of storage would even be approved. I'd love to hear your suggestions on how you keep your spare laptops organized and easily accessible without stacking them up! Thanks a lot!

We actually store our spare laptops in the cloud for quick access. But if you're looking for physical storage, I suggest something like an IKEA Pax system with plenty of shelves. It's versatile and can hold multiple laptops without them being stacked.

Lol, that sounds like a great solution! Can never have too much cloud, right?

We go for wire rack shelves with lockable doors and wheels. Ideally, you should attach a power strip to it—just ensure it’s a metal housing instead of plastic to avoid fire hazards!

Thanks for the tip! Do you have a sample picture of yours?

Using a simple bookshelf combined with a slotted pot/pan holder works well for us. It keeps everything in place without needing to pile them on top of each other. You might even find some images online for inspiration!

Does everything fit fine in those slots? Any chance you could share a pic to see how it looks?

In my office, we store only a few spare laptops at a time since we regularly replace older models. It's a small company, and we have a straightforward approach to inventory, so that might be worth considering if you have similar circumstances.

Do you use a special kind of cabinet for that?
