Hey there, fellow PC builders! I'm totally new to this whole building thing and have very little knowledge about computers, but I'm excited to finally build my own. I'm currently living in Canada and am looking for a setup that can outperform any console while still being budget-friendly. I want to keep it cost-effective and avoid unnecessary upgrades—if it runs smoothly for long gaming sessions, I'm happy with that. I've put together a build on PC Part Picker, but since I'm a bit of a rookie, I'm looking for any advice on how to improve it without breaking the bank. Thanks a bunch! Your build looks pretty solid overall! Just a heads-up, you might want to check the PSU tier list and also double-check your monitor selection. If possible, try to aim for RAM with a CL30 for better performance, but no drastic changes are needed. I’m a bit concerned about the total cost—around $1,800 seems steep for what you have; prices can vary a lot in Canada, so you might find better deals elsewhere. Good luck!
Thanks for the tips! Any specific places I should check for better prices? I'm under the impression that PC Part Picker shows the best available options for Canada.
