I'm looking to upgrade my friend's gaming PC and could use some advice. The current specs are:
- Motherboard: Prime A320M-K
- Processor: Ryzen 7 2700
- Graphics Card: RX 570 8GB
- RAM: 8GB 2666MHz
I'm considering swapping the CPU for a 5600X and adding 32GB (2x16GB) of RAM at 3200MHz CL16. Do you think this setup would be sufficient for decent FPS in CS2 at 1080p? Also, feel free to suggest any other CPU or GPU options since I know the current setup is quite outdated. Just as a reference, the budget without a new GPU is around 200 euros, but if I include a GPU, it goes up to about 350-400 euros.

The upgrade you're looking at sounds solid, especially staying on the AM4 platform. The 5600X is a significant improvement over the 2700, and the additional RAM will definitely help with multitasking and gaming. Just make sure your power supply can handle the new upgrades!
Yeah, definitely check your PSU. Also, if you're considering GPUs, make sure to look for ones that fit within your budget but offer good performance for 1080p gaming!
