I have a Corsair case that has an upper screen. I'm currently running three top fans that are set to exhaust air out, but during the summer, my room gets pretty hot. I'm considering removing the top screen because it feels super restrictive and doesn't let much air flow out, which is causing my system to run hot. Would it be advisable to remove it to improve heat exhaust? Also, I recently added an extraction fan at the top and wondered if I could leave the vent installed while having this fan to help pull out heat?

Removing the top screen should be okay! Just keep an eye on your setup and check for dust buildup every few months. You might also want to think about how much dust could get in without the screen, but overall, better airflow could really help with cooling.
I added that extraction fan on top, so maybe I won't need to remove the screen after all. It could help pull out the heat while keeping some dust out.
