I've had a GPU failure a couple of weeks back and decided to buy a new one along with a new power supply unit (PSU). After installing both, I powered on my setup and got an E0 error on my motherboard. I tried replugging several connectors on the motherboard and CPU, but the error persisted. When I reverted to my old PSU, everything booted up fine. I noticed that one of the new PSU cables might lack a proper connection to the motherboard. I have a picture to clarify but can't share it directly here at the moment. I've managed to upload the picture on Imgur. My old PSU was a Corsair CX650M, and my new one is a Corsair RM750x.

When switching out PSUs, it's crucial to replace all the cables that come with the new one. Modular cables aren't interchangeable, so using any cables from the old PSU could lead to issues like you're experiencing.
Totally agree, a picture makes it easier to troubleshoot. If you’ve posted it, it might help others give better advice.
I just managed to upload the image on Imgur and it seems the issue is likely from not swapping all the cables.
Glad you posted the image! It definitely helps to pinpoint the issue. It’s often the little things that can cause big headaches, like a missing connection.
Oh, I see! I only switched the cables that didn't fit the new CPU and left some of the old PCLe cables in. Guess I'll have to swap out everything according to your advice. Thanks!
