Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle with my PC build and need some help. I recently upgraded from a 1070ti to a 5060ti, but it refuses to work no matter what I try. My motherboard's POST shows a VGA error, and the monitor just goes to sleep, making it impossible to access the BIOS or anything. I'm confident my PSU is powerful enough for the setup, and I initially thought the GPU might be faulty. However, after returning it to the retailer, they tested it and said it worked fine.
To troubleshoot, I took my tower and the new GPU to a friend's place. The 5060ti worked perfectly in his PC, and when we tested his 3080 in my setup, it wouldn't work either. But the old 1070ti? It fires right up without any issues!
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? What could be causing my system to only accept this one GPU? I'm really scratching my head here! Full specs: MSI B550-A Pro motherboard, Ryzen 9 5900x CPU, 32gb DDR4 RAM, and Corsair RM850x PSU. You can check my full build on PCPartPicker too.
Thanks for any insight!

It sounds like a weird issue! One thing you could try is to turn off Secure Boot in your BIOS. Sometimes that can prevent new hardware from being recognized properly. If you haven’t done that yet, give it a shot and see if that changes anything!
I turned off Secure Boot with the 1070ti still in, swapped in the 5060ti, and unfortunately, still no success. Monitor connection just won’t happen.
