Has anyone figured out how to make BGInfo display at a true 100% screen scaling, no matter if the user's screen is set to 125% or 150%? I tried adjusting the compatibility settings for the .exe, which makes the program itself appear without scaling, but the output still changes based on different scales. I'm using a mix of TVs, projectors, and other displays that can scale anywhere from 100% to 300%, and I really hope someone has a solution to keep BGInfo showing information purely based on screen resolution at a consistent 100%.

I've had my share of troubles with BGInfo too, especially how it messes up wallpapers and tends to clutter the display. I found O&O Deskinfo, which I like because it can be hidden by clicking a tab. This way, it doesn’t interfere with your wallpaper and works as a separate fly-out.
BGInfo seems to be in a state of neglect, with only a few updates here and there. A lot of folks are switching over to Desktop Info instead; you might want to check that out. It could suit your needs better than BGInfo.
I checked out Desktop Info, but it runs an exe in memory, and I really need a solution that displays info as wallpaper without anything else hanging around.
I actually have a pretty good PowerShell script that sorts all of this out, managed through Intune. If you're curious, I can send it your way, just not on my PC right now.
