How can I stop Windows 11 from overwriting my Logitech G920 drivers?

I'm having a really frustrating issue with my Logitech G920 racing wheel on Windows 11. The built-in drivers that Windows installs for it, specifically 'G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel for Xbox One', keep causing problems—specifically a scrolling issue with the wheel itself. I've managed to get it working by uninstalling the automatic drivers and using the Logitech software after unplugging and reconnecting the USB to a different port. However, after rebooting my PC, Windows reinstalls its own drivers and the problem comes back. I've tried disabling automatic driver updates in the system settings, but nothing seems to work. Is there any way I can prevent Windows from automatically installing these drivers? It's really driving me up the wall! Thanks in advance!

You might want to consider installing the Logitech drivers directly instead of letting Windows handle it. That way, you could have more control over the drivers in use. Just keep in mind that Windows might still try to install its own if it thinks something's wrong.

Yeah, that's where I keep running into trouble. I install Logitech’s, but every time, Windows just goes ahead and reinstalls its own anyway.

I can see how that would be super annoying! Have you tried disabling Windows updates altogether? That might stop the driver from reinstalling, although I know it's not an ideal solution.
