First Time Building a Gaming PC: Where Do I Start?

I've been gaming on Xbox for about 10 years, but I'm diving into PC gaming now, especially with games that come with mod support. However, I'm completely lost on how to start building my first gaming PC without spending a fortune. I've heard different opinions from friends: some recommend building my own while others suggest buying a prebuilt one from Facebook Marketplace and upgrading it later. I specifically want to play Bannerlord 2 and I know Steam has the system requirements. Any advice would be super helpful!

If you're near a Microcenter, I really recommend checking out their Powerspec prebuilt PCs. They use good in-house parts and don't overcharge. Building your own PC is usually the best option for performance and price, though! You can also ask for help on subreddits like r/buildapcforme where someone will help suggest a build based on your budget.

Thanks! I'm heading to my buddy's place tonight, and he lives near a Microcenter, so I'll definitely check it out.
