Help with ‘Inaccessible Boot Device’ Issue on Windows 11

I've been running into a persistent 'inaccessible boot device' error after trying to uninstall an update on my Windows 11 laptop. I've dealt with this issue before by using an external USB to access 'startup repair', but it's not working this time. I've tried running 'chkdsk', but that hasn't helped either. Diskpart isn't even able to find the disk, nor can the Windows installation wizard detect it. The strange part is that I can access my SSD without any issues when I boot from an Ubuntu installation USB. As a computer technician, I want to avoid formatting or disassembling my laptop, especially since it would void my warranty. I'm looking for any advice or tips to get past this. Thanks in advance for your help!

You might want to check if you can access recovery options by using the keyboard shortcut keys specific to your laptop model. Sometimes, Windows doesn’t recognize the drive due to BIOS settings. Going through recovery should help refresh the drivers needed to recognize your SSD.

That's a good point about BIOS settings! If there was a recent BIOS update, that could definitely impact detection. As for why the installation wizard and Diskpart aren't picking up the drive, maybe they haven't loaded the necessary drivers at boot. Have you tried resetting the BIOS settings to default?
