I'm running Linux Mint v22 and installed Pinta version 3.1.3 through the Software Manager because I'm not really comfortable using the terminal. While Pinta appears in the menu, nothing happens when I try to launch it. The system doesn't show any process running, and if I attempt to run 'pinta' in the terminal, it says it can't find it. According to the properties, it shows a flatpak command. I'm just looking to do some basic editing, like resizing and cropping, so I don't need anything too complex. Any help would be appreciated!

I feel you! I also dislike flatpaks. I found that Pinta isn't available as a regular package in Mint 22. I ended up downloading a .deb file to install it instead. Just make sure to check out the updated user interface if you're used to the one from Mint 21. Here's the link where I got it: [link]
Have you tried running the full command from the properties in the terminal? It might help identify any errors you're encountering. Just copy and paste that whole flatpak command and see if it gives you any feedback.
I ran it, and it gave me 'No such file or directory.' Seems like something's off with the installation.
