I'm planning to build a PC that I can connect to my TV to play games using a controller. Here's my current build: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3XCqJn). It includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, a Thermalright Peerless Assassin CPU cooler, an ASRock A620I lightweight motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a Crucial P3 Plus 1TB SSD, and an MSI GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. Also, I'm interested in knowing if I'm overspending or underspending on any parts.

Honestly, you might be spending too much on the CPU for this build. The RTX 3060 isn't the best match for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D; it’s more powerful than necessary for the graphics card you have. Also, double-check the motherboard since a mini ITX case with a large casing is generally not the best combo. You might want to consider shifting to a lower-tier CPU or upgrading your GPU instead. You could even go for a RTX 5070 for a better balance in your budget.

Is there a specific game you're targeting with this build? Knowing the games will help decide if you're on the right track with your parts or if changes are necessary.

The part about the RAM seems solid, but keep in mind the Asrock motherboards have had some issues with AM5 CPUs. It might be safer to look into different brands if you want more reliability.

Also think about your TV's size and resolution. If you’re sitting close to a large screen, upscaling may cause some frustration in terms of frame rates for many games.

It really depends on the TV's specs. If you’re using a 4K TV, the RTX 3060 might not deliver the experience you're after since it's not a 4K card; it’s meant more for 1080p or light 1440p. For 4K gaming, consider cards like the 9070, 9070XT, or the RTX 4080 for a smoother experience.

Thanks! Are you suggesting the 5070 would work well enough in this case instead of the 5070ti?

The 5070 could work, but if you can stretch your budget a bit, the 5070ti would definitely ensure better performance.
