Help With BSOD and Bug Check Code 30

Hey everyone! I just ran into a blue screen of death (BSOD) on my PC, displaying a bug check code of 30. My machine has been running smoothly otherwise, so I'm not quite sure what happened. I've dug through the Event Viewer and found some crash log details, but I'm hoping for some insights or solutions. Any ideas on what might have caused this and how to fix it?

So, a bug check code of 30 translates to a KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error, specifically indicating an I/O error. That could point to an issue with your system disk. What's the make and model of your hard drive? Also, how old is it? Without the actual dump files, it’s hard to determine the exact cause, so getting those would be super helpful.

My SSD is an Intel SSDPEKNW512G8, about five years old. I tried to follow the bot's instructions but couldn't find the mini dump folder in my Windows directory.

First off, you'll want to grab the dump files for proper BSOD analysis. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find any, zip them up (just right-click the folder and choose 'Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder') and upload them to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. Having multiple dump files is ideal. If you only have one or none, make sure to follow some guides to change the dump type to Small Memory Dump settings in Windows. This could really help in diagnosing the issue.

Yeah, definitely follow the bot's advice! Those dump files are crucial for troubleshooting any BSOD effectively.
